Mando Ignition Coil, Brake Master Cylinder, or Engine Mount? A Field Guide to Not Guessing

How to Tell Which Scenario You're In

  • If there's a misfire code and a coil code, start with plugs and coils. But check the plug before the coil.
  • If the brake pedal sinks or fluid drops, inspect for leaks before ordering a master cylinder. A pressure test is not an upsell.
  • If the vibration changes with gear or load, pull up an engine mount diagram and look at the rubber before guessing coils.
  • If you're choosing an axle for a build, be honest about how often the vehicle gets driven on pavement.
